Joan Peterson's Report

Dear travel publishers,
BEA was fantastic. Our booth was very active and productive, thanks to the great energy of the handful of regulars who "work the crowd" at the book show with me every year: Margo Classe, Wilson Publishing; Evelyn Kaye, Blue Panda Publications; and Susan Chwae, Ginkgo Press, my business partner and daughter. And, we had a new (to the Assn) publisher, Susan Foster, Smart Travel Press, join us for some of the time each day. Perhaps she enjoyed it enough to become a regular! Thanks to all of these pubs and also to many others displaying with us who stopped at the booth during the show. (SEE Photos below; TPA members in the "line-up" photo are, L to R: Susan Chwae, Susan Foster, Evelyn Kaye, Joan Peterson and Margo Classe)

This year's winner of over $1000 worth of books all the books we had on display is Chris Gallati, Owner Where in the World (Global Emporium & Travel Shop) 50 Sanford St. Fairfield CT 06430 Tel: 203-254-2627 Chris received the boxes a day or so ago, and was thrilled to get them. He was impressed with the depth of the collection and looks forward to restocking the titles when they sell through.
